This last Sunday we talked about the power and blessing of the
Priesthood. The Priesthood power can bless all of our lives, men and women.
Women have access to the priesthood through our covenants and by asking for
blessings from worthy priesthood holders. We should strive to live worthy of the
blessings we can receive by honoring our Priesthood covenants.
Welcome to the 23rd ward Relief Society STOP Spot, S=smile T-teach O=overcome and P=peace! We are all on a journey together. A journey of friendship, learning, and fun! We hope you find inspiration and joy in the things we have to share and that you learn to Smile, Teach, Overcome and find Peace on our journey as daughters of God.

Last Sunday's Notes
This past Sunday Laurel White gave a powerful lesson on
acknowledging our own strengths. It went something like this:
1.
The Stripling Warriors
a.
Alma 56:2-9; 46-47
b.
The stripling warriors didn’t fear, even though
they hadn’t fought before, and they gained confidence through experience.
2.
Gaining strength and confidence (or our talents)
to help serve others
3.
Recognizing our strengths can:
a.
Enable us to better help others
b.
Fight Satan in his attempts to lower our self
esteem
c.
Motivate us to be stronger
We took the time to write down our strengths and talents,
and then shared them with a small group of sisters, followed by the uplifting video posted below. It was an amazingly
powerful experience and an inspired lesson, and a great reminder of the power and strength women of God have! Thanks Laurel!
