Meet Chalese Adams!

Chalese Adams has been in the ward since June 2013 and is currently majoring in Nursing and Recreational Therapy at BYU. She works for the Marriott school as a TA for a few different professors and has her own business (ByChalese) where she makes lots of accessories like baby booties, headbands, other hair accessories, stuffed animals and bow ties (Chalese is on Instagram, Facebook, and Etsy).

How did you meet your husband?
"David and I met on our way back to BYU. My friend that I rode home had her car break down and David had also gone home that weekend. After a couple phone calls it was decided that David would take my friend and her two other passengers back to Provo. So after not knowing each other our whole lives we finally met and everything else is history."

Where did you get married?
"In the Idaho Falls, Idaho temple on October 13, 2012."

What are some of your hobbies?
"I love to play tennis, volleyball, read, shop, crochet, and do other crafts. I also love to organize and babysit small children."

What's your favorite food?
"I love lasagna and my husband can attest that I like anything sweet (like candy, yum)"

What's something that most people don't know about you?
"I have my own business (it's official because I have business cards) and that I'm actually in the ward."

What are some of your favorite books/movies/music/TV shows?
"I love books written by Gerald Lund, Margaret Peterson Haddix, and Dean Hughes. I love Disney movies and romantic comedies. Country music is my thing (but I also like Sara Barreilles and Colbie Caillat). I don't watch much TV but I do watch Once Upon A Time and I recently binge watched Switched at Birth."
